Having an indoor grill is great for being able to cook your favorite foods all year round. For people living in seasonal climates this can be a true blessing indeed. But regardless of where you live, using an indoor grill safely is always priority number one. That said, there are a few tips to follow to make your grilling experience a safe one.

First, and most importantly, always stay close to your grill. Don’t make the mistake of putting your food on and then going to the living room to watch some of the big game on TV. Before you know it smoke can be filling your house and you’ve got a mess on your hands.

Control the smoke from your grill by keeping the water pan filled at all times. Don’t let it go dry because this is the only way to prevent the smoke from filling the room. Finally, always remember to turn off or unplug the grill when you are done cooking. It can be easy to forget at times and then come back later and touch it on accident.
